Grinding Gearboxes analyses gearbox failure by addressing the issues of root cause and financial impact, and suggests proactive steps to mitigate the frequency and severity of downtime. The report aims to quantify the inherent risk and financial impact of gearbox failure, but also to promote knowledge sharing among GCube insureds, and to support insurance brokers with a view to minimising that impact.
