About the
event

Join us on September 20th at London Zoo for our third biannual Offshore Wind Risk Seminar.

The programme includes presentations by:

-Bloomberg offshore wind analyst Keegan Kruger, giving a global outlook on the offshore wind industry

-MUFG’s Head of Power and Renewables, Carol Gould, on the issues related to financing offshore wind projects in emerging markets

-GCube’s Head of Offshore, Jatin Sharma, on risk-related questions and the different hazards faced by developers and operators who are already familiar with mature markets, when working in new territories

-London Offshore Consultants’ Group Director, R V Ahilan, taking an in-depth look at marine warranty surveying, and exploring how standards can be exported from the European market to the rest of the world

The afternoon will consist of workshops on resource and weather delay risk, and coping with loss, before delegates will be invited to take part in a tour of the zoo.

Our risk seminars are exclusive events for risk managers that draw together market leaders in risk management and renewable energy insurance from the UK and further afield. The events aim to encourage discussion and debate about the ways in which lessons learnt from more mature renewables markets can be applied to maximise opportunities in emerging markets.
