GCube Insurance Services, Inc. Expands BioFuels Team

May 23, 2011, Newport Beach, CA – GCube is pleased to announce that Nick Coenen has joined the company, the leading provider of insurance services for the renewable energy sector around the globe.

Nick Coenen joins as Vice President of Loss Control Engineering with an emphasis on biofuel and biomass sectors.
“Nick brings a great deal of experience to our biofuels team and he will help us expand our product line in the biomass industry. His engineering expertise will provide our customers with loss control insight to help minimize their losses and production downtime.” says Jeff Richards, Senior Vice President of Underwriting for GCube’s Biofuel and BioMass programs.

Prior to joining GCube, Nick Coenen was most recently a Senior Consultant with Global Risk Consultants where he was responsible for managing the property protection and other risk control activities for large agri-chemical clients. Mr. Coenen has held various field engineering and management positions with Global Risk Consultants and FM Global, where he started his insurance career over twenty years ago. Mr. Coenen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He will be located out of the GCube Minneapolis office.
